Melody, Energy, Fun! That’s what you’ll find when I entertain at restaurants, breweries, parties, senior centers, special events, boat tours, and more. I play songs you know and like, harvested from several decades of styles. Beach music, folk, country, rock, standards, light jazz, Motown soul, reggae, holidays and kids songs. My sweet spot is Sixties Top 40, especially the Beatles & Beach Boys. I love vocal harmony, using a harmonizer plus a guitar technique adding bass & lead lines to my chords, with a percussive feel. It’s a full sound, danceable and all live.
When the Beatles stormed the world, I wanted to learn guitar and had the perfect teacher in place….my mom. She took lessons in WWII and later gave me the tools to indulge my passion for music. Growing up, I absorbed it all and now have the opportunity to enliven any gig. Did I mention I love taking requests? And throwing musical curves, like my Abbey Road medley.
